David Namir, LCSW
Licensed Psychotherapist
Professional Background & Approach
David has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arkansas since 2011 (License #5073-C). After dedicating 15 years to the non-profit sector, he pursued his Master of Social Work degree at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, driven by a deep passion for helping others achieve happiness, health, and wholeness. After training at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System, he went on to serve as an outpatient therapist in the Psychiatric Research Institute at UAMS and acted as an addiction treatment specialist at Bradford Health/St. Vincent. He also taught future social workers while he was on the faculty of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Social Work and currently serves on the Advisory Board for the School.
Your journey in therapy is unique — and so is the care you deserve. In a private, personalized setting, every session is thoughtfully tailored to your needs, giving you the space to be truly heard, supported, and understood. There are no intake staff or middle layers — just attentive, one-on-one guidance that centers on you. Because David intentionally keeps his caseload small, he is able to offer care that is thoughtful, individualized, and grounded in a genuine understanding of your needs. Therapy is not “one-size-fits-all,” so your experience shouldn’t be either.
Whether you’re dealing with low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, trauma, or seeking support during significant life transitions like divorce and job loss, David is there to support you.
